The Story of Bill DaButler!
"Music has been at the center of my life since I was a small child. At the age of 6, at Thanksgiving dinner, when asked what I was thankful for, the answer was simple: My Record Player. My First ever DJ gig was at the age of 15, and many of the songs came from records, no one had ever heard of an MP3 then.
"I graduated from the New England School of Broadcasting in 1993, and since then, I have worked for the following stations: WHSN, WNSW, WKIT, WLKE, WKSQ, WBFB, WABI, WWBX, WVOM, WFZX, WGUY, & WNSX. I currently serve as the Director Of Operations for WNSX @ 97-7. In the past I have also worked with other radio stations all over the state of Maine.
"I also write music & play guitar, parody songs for broadcast, Custom songs for live events and I also have several recording projects, and Four CD's of songs: "The Sound of Nothing," "A Hole in the Tune Bucket," "Bottled Up Rage," & "For Your Own Good Health!" I am currently working on my fourth Album,"Songs Full Of Pain, From A Heart Made Of Stone."
